Microsoft Patch 955020 This patch will ensure that Friendster and Obama are added to your dictionary on Vista and 2008 Server. No big deal right? This brings up a few questions for me: Why does my server have a GUI? Why does this patch require a reboot? Who is typing the words Friendster or Obama on their 2008 Server? At the root of the issue is that I will never deploy Hyper-V for enviroments I admin. I understand patching for core issues and security but this is stupid. If this server was in fact running my virtual server farm I would now be rebooting for Friendster and Obama. Yikes!

Bearing your soul in words is a dangerous proposition. Admitting to yourself in a permanent fashion is much more difficult than simply bypassing it with nonsensical mental talk. I will be the first to stipulate that I make a good argument in my head for why things are not as my heart says. That is why I do not trust my mind near as much as I trust my heart and soul. Often I have conveyed through my writing that it is through these words I escape. I love books. I actually love reading but hate the one aspect of being a traveling reader…carrying them all. A few reference computer manuals and a college book and I might as well pack a second bag. So I broke down and became an early adopter. Say hello to my Kindle!
