Internet Explorer was based off the Spyglass Code Base
Both news (that is really a broad term in today’s age) channels in-correctly attirbuted Internet Explorer to Bill Gates. I suppose you can say that as much as Mazda can say they created the B2000 AKA Ford Ranger. Mr. Gates was no doubt a business gensius, but pioneer he was not. Microsoft simply eats and regurgitates well done work.
