I always wanted an SGI machine after watching Jurassic Park as a kid.Its a UNIX system. I know this!
Now that I am a UNIX Admin I have an SGI machine! An O2 to be exact. What surprises me about the little blue fridge is how cute it is and how powerful. By today’s standards it isn’t something you would want to use everyday, but I can’t help but be in awe of a machine that is 11 years old. This screenshot should show you what I am talking about. I have MacOS, Windows 95, Irix 6.5.22, and Firefox 2.0.6 running. At the same time…without the machine crashing. Amazing little box!
