Do you have your copy of the Compendium?
Our venerated John Paul II in 1992 commissioned the Catechism to be written. As many of us know, the book is surely to be found sitting next to our NASB Bibles :) When the book was published, many were expecting the Baltimore Catechism, a Q&A style book for Do’s and Don’t. In order to give Catholic’s options to understand our faith in our terms, JP2 commissioned Cardinal Ratzinger to direct a similar book. What we have today is a similar style book but in a form many of the Pre-Vatican II can appreciate. I highly recommend it and feel blessed to belong to a Church so strongly and powerfully publishes the beliefs of God’s Church. Please rush out for a copy, IT’S GREAT!!!
