Today was a wonderful day. I had been struggling with what my purpose for being here was. I really didn’t feel that it was for the training as I had been through so much before this. I tonight feel God placed me here to touch the journey of these people with us here. I will expand more as it is so late. Tomorrow we are done @ 1500 and I will have time to post pictures and much much more. God Bless you all and Good Night!!

Good Morning to All!
We are all getting ready to meet downstairs in the lobby. TLF here is a little on the interesting side for an old Air Force guy. I will say this: “Made the Right Choice.” I think Air Force recruiters should just swing people interested in the service over to a Marine Base to seal the deal. Sheesh. I will take some pictures of my room and such. The good news is that if I am going to be sharing a living area with anyone *keeping in mind this is officer quarters* it might as well be Kris. Our plan ride in was pretty eventful. After a 1 hour delay at Atlanta for pilots, 1 hour delay for taxing, 2 hour delay in air, it made for a very long flight. Luckily we had river dancers. More on this later…
Pavel picked us up from the airport right now on time despite the hassles. The ride from the airport to base was about 45 minutes but filled with discussions of faith. Pavel seems like a very cool guy with a broad background in the church. Always a bonus for someone doing young adult ministry I would say.
Julien and I were the last to arrive and make our way to rooms last night. We finally got into lodging around midnight after a long day. Note to self, next time don’t work in the morning before traveling. Our lodging sits directly on the bay and beach on base that I have yet to get a good look at. It was dark and I forgot my night vision goggles in the car. Whoops. I will be taking pictures to give everyone an idea of where we are staying for the next few days.
Well for the morning post this will have to do. Kris just rolled his happy butt out of bed and we need to get going. I stand corrected, he was talking to the little lady. Have a great day, God Bless,

I am heading out to San Diego for a Catholics Seeking Christ(CSC) Conference. I find the name funny because I would hope all Catholics were seeking Christ :) Kris, Julien, and myself will be out there till Friday. I have decided to keep a blog journal each day to give everyone an idea about the programs and training Military Archdiocese is offering. I am excited about going to meet the faces from emails and to spend some time building our core group closer. I have Mom and Dad’s camera so keep your eyes peeled for pictures. Popple *Dan specifically* lives in the San Diego area, so we are possibly going to meet up for a BBQ while we are there. I am praying that this really lights a flame under me to get my butt back in gear. Over the past few months with everything going on I have lost the drive. Please keep us all in your prayers as we go to become better ministers of God’s Children.

The venerated JP2 spoke of the society of death all the time in his writings. As a world we support death in abortion, “getting rid of old people”, those pesky sick people, and kids who aren’t blue eyed and porn stars. The atrocities of Hitler with his super race become more and more real in todays society as we get rid of the bad fruit. The scariest place on earth is China. Right now we consider them a necessary evil to fill our walmarts with cheap crap, but turning an eye to the crap they pull with human rights. I love their recent attempts to ordain their own priests/bishops despite the Catholic Church saying “No.” Thanks China lets let the Pope deal with that one. What really kills me though are these new Death Vans! Read the article below and tell me you aren’t worries about this socialist government.

Filled with a night of local beer companies and theology we spent the night discussing theology and barley. Those of you who know me, well, I don’t drink…but I also had a local beer. Root Beer that is. Barq’s is from Biloxi :) Anyways we were playing with the Treo because Dan really wants one. Showed off the video function for all to see!
